September 2016 edited September 2016 in Star Trek Online General Discussion I was looking up history on the steamrunner class and came across one of the original concept art pictures from its development and I absolutely love the look. The Steamrunner class is one of the few remaining canon Trek ships that hasnt had a T6 update yet so this release is long overdue.
The Steamrunner-class was a type of Federation starship in service with Starfleet during late 24th century. This class of Federation starship entered service during the late 24th Century. A unique design element of this class is how it streamlines the warp nacelles into the saucer section.
In Star Trek Online the Steamrunner-class Blockade Runner Escort is an unlockable ship obtained by installing the game with Valves Steam DRM software and purchasing the Steam Starter Pack. Star Trek Online is set to release a new Ship of the Line Bundle which will feature the Steamrunner Class.
