How Did Joe Rogan Became Fear Factor Host. The show was adapted from the original Dutch version Now or Neverland and renamed Fear Factor by Endemol USA and NBC for the American market. He quit the job after two years.
The series made history in 2004 as the first network reality show to be syndicated. Its no surprise that MTV took a gamble on Fear Factor. Rogan is also known for being the host of his own podcast The Joe Rogan Experience.
The show has spawned many spin-offs creating the Fear Factor franchise.
After Fear Factor ended in 2006 Joe Rogan went on to explore other career opportunities including acting and standup gigs. Arguably this was how he became famous but it wasnt how he reached his peak. He provided comical satire and the right amount of bravado to push contests past their limits both physically and mentally. Rogan stayed on the show for five years though he later said he didnt really enjoy the job.
